Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council offers financial assistance to eligible organisations who are delivering projects which align with Council's priorities. Details of grants which are currently open or are opening soon are detailed towards the bottom of this page.

All applications are to be submitted online using the options below once open for applications. The Applicant Guidance Manuals will be available below once the call opens. Organisations should find all the details they require in these manuals and are encouraged to read these before applying.

Financial Assistance Grants

Grants appearing under the 'Financial Assistance Grants' tab below are only open to community and voluntary sector organisations. Any queries relating to these grants (either Capital or Revenue) should initially be directed to fap@armaghbanbridgecraigavon.gov.uk or by phoning 07515 607480.

Empty To Occupied

Grants appearing under the 'Empty To Occupied' tab below are only open to owners of long term vacant commercial properties. Any queries relating to these grants should initially be directed to emptytooccupied@armaghbanbridgecraigavon.gov.uk . A telephone surgery will take place on Thursday 18 March from 11am to 6pm where members of the Regeneration Department can answer your queries by contacting them on T: 028 3831 3618.

2b Large Scale Capital Project Fund For large capital works projects where a maximum of 50% of match funding from Council is required. Project delivery should commence after the date of a Letter of Offer and before 31.3.22. Please note this grant programme will close at 12noon on 29th October 2021 or whenever the budget is committed, whichever comes first. 1b Community Development Grants Friday, 29/01/2021 @ 12:00 noon To fund the delivery of programmes where there are clear community development outcomes or to fund the core running costs of community development-focused organisations.
2a Small Scale Capital Projects Fund Friday, 19/02/2021 @ 12:00 noon Grants available to eligible organisations for equipment, technical assistance for a capital project, or small capital projects. Project delivery should commence after the date of a Letter of Offer and be completed before 31.3.22.

7 International Linkages Grant Friday, 29/01/2021 @ 12:00 noon To facilitate organisations in building effective, strong & active international linkages to maximise the benefit to the Borough gained across trade, investment, culture, tourism & best practice learning.
Covid-19 Support Grant Friday, 24/07/2020 @ 12:00 noon To provide financial support to community-led initiatives aimed at providing relief to those affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Covid-19 Community Support Grant Friday, 05/03/2021 @ 12:00 noon The purpose of this grant is to support the community and voluntary sector response to Covid-19. This short extension to our Covid-19 Community Support Grant 3rd Call is only in respect of applications to Theme A - focusing on improving access to remote learning resources for Primary and Post-Primary school children.
