Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council offers financial assistance to eligible groups in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector. Our support seeks to help such groups who can provide services that are aligned to Council priorities for:-

Covid-19 Community Support Grant

Council is offering financial assistance of up to £1,000 to organisations in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector to support community-led initiatives aimed at providing relief to those affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.The grant programme opens on Friday 17th April and will remain open on a rolling basis until the budget is committed or until Council decides to close it. The programme is part-funded by the Department For Communities.

Capital Project Grants 2020-21 - *****Large Capital Project Fund 2020/21 deferred*****

The Large Capital Project Fund 2020-21 opened for applications on Monday 9th March 2020 for large capital projects commencing before 31st March 2021. This call has now been deferred due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Further information will be made available in due course regarding the Large Capital Project Fund.

Revenue Grants 2020-21 - Call 2 2020/21 (Restricted)

Our second call for Revenue Grants was due to open on Monday 6th April 2020 but was deferred due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  A limited Call 2 will open on Monday 8th June and will close for applications on Friday 26th June at 12 noon. Applicants should note the following:

  • applications are only being invited for funding for core running costs of eligible organisations
  • the criteria for eligiblility for applying for core running costs remains the same
  • if you have successfully applied for core running costs in Call 1 2020/21 you cannot apply again in this call

Applications for programmes and events are not currently being invited. This situation is constantly under review and calls for applications for programmes and events may open in the coming weeks.

2b Large Scale Capital Project Fund Sunday, 05/04/2020 @ 13:55 For large capital works projects where a maximum of 50% of match funding from Council is required. Project delivery should commence after the date of a Letter of Offer and before 31.3.21.
